We visited the restaurant on June last where, for a surprise birthday brunch. We had a fantastic time with their unlimited sushi brunch—the food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth it! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was great, making it a wonderful experience overall.
The only small letdown was that our requested birthday celebration didn’t happen, even though we saw others being celebrated. We understand it was a busy day, but it would have made the occasion extra special. We did received 2 chocolate balls with a candle by a shy waiter but nothing like the others, happy birthday song sang by the 2/3 waiters.
That said, we still had an amazing time and would happily return for the delicious sushi and great vibes!

Visited for a midday treat, and I was impressed by how attentive the staff was. They explained each course, and the sashimi was sliced beautifully thin. It's a lovely spot for a leisurely lunch with good company.

One of the best sushi I had in London. I had high expectations for this restaurant and it was even better than my expectations. The nigiri was so fresh and tasty that I could eat all of it by myself. The desert was a plus too. Amazing presentation and the tasty did not disappoint. The atmosphere and service were amazing too. I can’t wait to go back for Aqua Kyoto! Highly recommend it.

My friend and I had set dinner menu. I worried I would stay hungry but i was wrong. Very tasty food and fantastic atmosphere. My friend especially recommended Grilled Barley miso salmon

Welcome, service and staff were amazing- we had the set menu as we wanted to test the food - out of 3 courses the main and dessert were the best, starters not so much. This was a buzzy, loud restaurant- if you prefer something quieter we were shown a Spanish restaurant to the rear which had a more relaxed atmosphere. Nice views from the terrace - this probably is the best feature, so recommended for drinks.

Had such a great experience here! We came for the Kyoto Nights deal where you get starters to share, 1 main and 1 side each, unlimited sushi on selected sushi and a dessert platter to share, for £50pp. We thought it was great value for money, the food was so delicious and so well presented. Will definitely be back again!!

Had an amazing dinner celebrating a friend’s birthday at Aqua Kyoto. We tried a variety of dishes, but the standout was the sea bass, perfectly cooked with a sauce that complemented every bite. The staff was warm and attentive, topping off our glasses at just the right moments. Their cocktail menu was also a pleasant surprise, with creative options that balanced the flavors of the food. I particularly liked the atmospheric lighting and the overall sleek design of the space. It’s definitely a spot I’d go again for a relaxed but stylish evening.

Beautiful evening out for a birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to cater to everyone, from reservations to bartenders and floor staff, every single person made it an incredibly special night. Absolutely no issues with our groups dietary restrictions, there were many delicious options for those gluten-free. The music, food, drinks and atmosphere was incredible. My third time at Aqua, and we will definitely be back again. Big thank you to everyone for making such a special night.
